Control arm

A control arm is a high safety part of the wheel suspension in vehicles. It is a mechanical linkage rod which swings vertically transverse to the driving direction, connecting the wheel carrier to the vehicle body via a hinge which is attached at both ends. The control arm comprises a top and bottom shell, a reinforcement, a steel bush and a cold-pressed hexagonal adapter. These components are joined using a MAG welding process. The completed welded assembly is then coated with cathodic dip paint resistant to corrosion.
